Srinagar, June 30: In a significant political development in Jammu and Kashmir, three parties Sajad Lone’s People’s Conference, Hakeem Yaseen’s People’s Democratic Front (PDF), and the Jamaat-e-Islami-backed Justice and Development Front (JDF) have come together to form a new political coalition named People’s Alliance for Change (PAC).

Speaking to reporters, Sajad Lone, President of the People’s Conference, said the alliance is aimed at providing a credible political alternative to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

“We have formed an alliance with the Justice and Development Front (JDF), a Jamaat-e-Islami-backed party, and Hakeem Yaseen of the People’s Democratic Front (PDF),” Sajad said.

The people of Jammu and Kashmir have endured immense suffering, and we are committed to driving change. The current political landscape is barren, and our alliance offers a viable alternative,” Lone said.

Shamim Ahmad Thokar, President of the Justice and Development Front, said that “We cannot succeed alone. To serve the people effectively, we must unite. Our party will join this alternative alliance,” Thokar said. (JKNS)
