Kupwara: Scores of locals from Vawoora, Lolab in this north Kashmir district on Monday blocked the Sogam-Kupwara highway while protesting against the PHE department for not providing them drinking water for weeks.
The protesters blocked the highway for hours.
Police also reached to the spot to restore the traffic on the highway and pacify the angry protesters but in vain.
The locals said they want to talk to administration not to police.
