Holding banner, Er Rasheed said if government failed to construct the tunnels in the areas, then “let the people of Karnah and Gurez migrate freely to the other side of the border”.

Later, after the Question Hour, Rasheed was marshaled out of the Assembly after he tried to jump into the well of the house.

He had come in support of the MLA Bandipora Usman Majeed who sought amnesty for the youth booked for playing Pakistani anthem during a cricket match in the district recently.

Supporting Usman’s demand, the independent MLA created uproar over the issue and entered into a verbal brawl with the BJP members.

He jumped into the well and was marshaled out of the assembly.
