Sopore: The inhabitants of Wadoora payeen area  sopore of north kashmir Baramulla district are up angry over callous approach of authorities for not repairing roads innthe area.

“The concerned department has neglected us and have not taken any developmental work in the village since decades,” villagers said, adding that the link road connecting the village to the sopore and kupwara road is in shambles and it has become ‘impossible even to walk over it’.

The road has developed pot holes and it becomes impossible to walk on the road especially during winter .

Appealing authorities to carry necessary repairs so that the village could feel a sigh of relief.

Wadoora road will upgrade soon, MLA Sopore

The inhabitants of Wadoora payeen area  sopore of north kashmir Baramulla district are up in arms against the dilipdated road conditions.  People of this village said that the concerned department has neglected them and have not taken any developmental work in the village since decades. They said that the road link connecting the village to the sopore kupwara road is in shambles and it has become impossible even to walk. They said that the road has not been repaired since long causing inconvenience to the villagers. The road has developed pot holes and ditches and it becomes very impossible to walk on the road especially during in harsh winter . People of the village appeal authorities to carry necessary repairs and maintenance of the road so that the large population of this village could feel a sigh of relief.

A local resident of same village Bhat mudasir told INS that  our road was megdimised in 1998 when it was not concept about villages .But unfortunately after that till this date never our road was even repaired. It takes an hour to make it on half a km. If really there is any govt then they will look in this matter.

AEE R&B  sopore firdous Ahmad told INS that paucity of funds has become hurdle in repairing the road.
Haji Abdul Rashid Dar, Said that Wadoora payeen road will soon be blacktoped under the scheme  of NABARD .

“The 1 kilometer road from highway to inner village of Wadoora payeen, will be repair soon,” he said.
