Tral: Burglars decamped with gold worth ‘50 lacs’ and cash from a residential house in Amlar village of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

The incident happened on Friday afternoon, while the family was not present in the house.

Burglars struck house of Ali Mohd Malik , S/O Ab Samad Malik of New Colony Amlar in Tral at around 1pm on Friday.

“All the family members were out for some urgent work and i too left for Friday prayers at 12:45 pm after locking my house. When i came back after prayers , the house inside was vandalised,” House owner, Ali Mohd Said, adding that gold worth 50 lac and cash was also stolen.

A complaint of theft has been registered in this connection at concerned police station and investigations started.
