Poonch: A major fire broke out near PNB main Market poonch district of Jammu Division of state, that gutted three shops and damaged goods worth lakhs of rupees, Wednesday.

While there were no reports of casualties, nearly 3 shops were gutted, the police said.

It is suspected that the cause of fire was a short-circuit, they said.

The police said that the goods worth lakhs of rupees were gutted in the blaze, they said, adding that the exact extent of damage and cause of fire is being ascertained
