Condolence meeting held to mourn demise of Al-Haj Nazir Ahmad Zargar; INS management express sympathy

Lahore: United Jihad Council (UJC) chairman and Hizb-ul-Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin has said that Kashmir freedom movement is indigenous and has no ‘global agenda”.

Addressing a high-level meeting of Jihad council in Muzaffarabad on Nov 19, Salahuddin, as per a statement, said that Kashmir struggle is an indigenous movement. “This struggle has no international agenda,” he said.

He cautioned the people of Kashmir over the “Ikhwan-type” outfits being created “by Indian agencies” to create wedge among the people.

Paying tributes to militants killed in Tral, Hajin and Magam, the Hizb chief said these “sacrifices will not go in vain”.

“The people of Jammu and Kashmir will reach their goal because of this precious blood and sacrifices,” he said, in the statement.

Salahuddin said that many army generals who thought that the freedom struggle in Jammu and Kashmir would be crushed were proved wrong by the people of the state.
