Majid nor apprehend or surrendered, but contacted his family for return: IGP

Srinagar: Reacting over the surrender reports about ace footballer turned militant in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone Mr Munir Khan said that there are no such reports but he added that they are in touch with the family of the footballer.

A section of media reported that Majid Khan of Southern Anantnag district who recently joined militant outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba has surrendered before security forces, a report officially not confirmed.
