Srinagar, November 16: Continuing with the mission of J&K Police to provide platform to the talented youth of the State to nurture talent and channelize their energy in a positive manner, District Police Bandipora in collaboration with Hajin Army Camp of 13 RR organized a Cricket Tournament at Baharabad Hajin here under Civic Action Programme.

16 cricket teams of different parts of the Sub Division Sumbal  participated in the tournament.

The tournament concluded with prize distribution among the winning and runner up teams by SSP Bandipore Sheikh Zulfikar Azad.

While speaking on the occasion, SSP Bandipore  underscored the objectives of organizing such programmes. He said that endeavour of J&K Police is to provide platform to the talented youth of this frontier district who have great potential in different sports activities.

He also thanked the players for showing true sportsmanship and discipline during the tournament. (INS)
