Srinagar, Nov 14: A man died Tuesday morning in payer Mohallah, Salkoote area of Kupwara district allegedly due to consuming of poison.

According to reports, the man had consumed some poisonous material and was rushed to District Hospital Kupwara where doctors declared him brought dead.

The deceased was identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Mir son of Mohammad Afzal Mir resident of Payer Mohllah, Salkoote Kupwara.

Meanwhile, police has registered a case in this regard and investigation has taken up.
