Srinagar: PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti said that the Bharatiya Janata Party can’t scare her by demands of arrest over “instigating people to defy the highway ban” and said that she is “not made of a wood that burns easily.”
“BJP wants me arrested for instigating Kashmiris to defy a callous ban that prohibits them from using their own roads. But such tactics & threats won’t scare me. They forget I am not made of a wood that burns easily,” Mehbooba tweeted.
Earlier BJP said that PDP chief was instigating people to defy a ban of vehicular movement on highway for two days a week and demanded that she be arrested for trying to “create law and order problem”.
“FIR should been registered against former CM Mehbooba Mufti for statements to instigate the public to defy vehicular ban on highway on Wednesdays and Sundays,” the chief spokesperson of J&K BJP, Sunil Sethi, told reporters in Jammu.
“We demand the arrest of Mehbooba Mufti for instigating public to break law,” he added.
