Mohammad Shafi Khan 36, a resident of Yarmuqam Arhama village of Ganderbal, has been shifted to Kotbalwal jail in Jammu.

A police official said that Khan was booked under FIR no. 219/2017 under section 148, 149, 303, 336 and other unlawful acts.

“We registered an FIR and he was arrested soon afterwards,” SSP ganderbal Fayaz Ahmad Lone said.

A video which went viral on on the social media last week depicted a woman tying a cop to a chair after alleging that he shot her pictures with his mobile phone. Sloganeering too could be seen in the vedio, while others help the girl tie cop to chair.
