Kulgam: Militants on Saturday attacked a police vehicle in Damhal Hanjipora area of Kulgam district in south Kashmir.

Sources said that militants opened fire on a police vehicle at Nandmarg crossing in Damhal Hanjipora in Noorabad area.

Reports say that one police man Khurshid Ahmad has died on the spot, however official confirmantion is awaited.
