Srinagar: Police on Thursday said that militants involved in bank robbery today in Anantnag have been identified and belong to Hizbul mujahedeen outfit.

“During preliminary investigation it came to fore that two militants identified as Rasik Nabi Bhat @Owais son of Ghulam Nabi Bhat resident of Nowdal (Kirman Mohalla) and Salia Mohammad Akhoon @Rehaan son of Ghulam Mohammad Akhoon resident of Arampora Gurikadal Medoora Tral, of banned outfit HM are involved in the robbery,” police said.

Police said that militants barged into J&K Bank branch Marhama and looted the bank.
