Srinagar: Barring Hurriyat conference (M) Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq from attending seminar, authorities put him under house arrest on Thursday.
“Placed under #HouseArrest as i was about to leave for a seminar at Geelani Sb’s house to pay tributes to #ImamHussain(RA)& MartyrsOfKarbala,” Mirwaiz tweeted.
Mirwaiz was among the speakers at Hurriyat conference (G) organised seminar in at the residence cum office of Syed Ali Geelani.
