Tral attack: 26 injured due to pellets including constable, superintendent engineer

Srinagar: The large number of injured in the grenade attack, suspectedly, on R&B Minister Naeem Akhtar in Tral today is, allegedly, due to ‘unprovoked use of pellet gun by government forces’ on the crowd.

Block Medical Officer, Sub District Hospital Tral issued a list of 26 injured due to pellets, including a constable and a superintendent engineer R&B.

About (10) persons have been referred to Tertiary Care Hospital, Srinagar for specialized investigation.
“In addition to above, due to huge public crowd, some of the injured persons were not entered in the register, however all the injured persons managed at SDH level,” said the BMO at the end of the list.
