Jammu: A Sub-Committee of Press Council of India (PCI) is scheduled to visit Jammu and Ladakh from September 22 to 26 to examine the issues relating to the media.
The Sub-Committee headed by S N Sinha with its Members Prakash Dubey and Dr Suman Gupta  during their visit will be meeting the representatives of media owners, editors and working journalists in Jammu on September 22.
The PCI team is also scheduled to meet the editors and working journalists from Rajouri and Poonch at Rajouri on September 23 and at Leh on September 24 and 25.
“Associations of media owners, editors and working journalists desirous of meeting the Sub-Committee are requested to submit the names of their office bearers with other details in the office of Joint Director Information Jammu by September 21,” an official statement said her.
The media owners, editors and working journalists are requested to contact Lal Chand, Assistant Director Information on Cell No: 9419786238 and Shabir Ahmad, Media Coordinator on Cell No: 9419007581 who will be coordinating the meetings with PCI team, the statement added.
