Srinagar: J&K Bank Saturday nominated its football team to participate in ongoing Mufti Mohammad Syed Memorial Football Tournament at Polo ground Srinagar.
The Team will play its first game in the premiere league on 20th September.
Quoting Chairman and CEO J&K Bank Parvez Ahmed, spokesperson Bank, said that ‘as desired by the CM, the team had been temporarily revived to ensure participation in the ongoing tournament.’
“A proper Sports culture is essential to nourish the talent and reap its long term benefits”, spokesperson said.
