Srinagar: Chairman Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik was on Wednesday released from Srinagar central jail today.
Malik was arrested by police on May 28 after his Tral visit and sent him to Srinagar central jail on a five day judicial remand.
The spokesman in a statement issued to KNS said that court today granted bail to him after which he was released from central jail.
Meanwhile, JKLF has strongly condemned the arrest of Arshad Ahmad Sheikh of Budroo Yaripora Kulgam who is the son of JKLF deputy district president Jenab Assadullah Sheikh.
“Police recently arrested this innocent young man and has kept him in Kulgam police station,” the spokesman said.
JKLF strongly condemns “this police highhandedness and appeals to all human rights organizations to intervene and save this innocent youth from this police wrath.” (KNS)
