Srinagar: The National Investigation Agency has given ‘clean chit’ to Kashmir High Court Bar Association Mian Abdul Qayoom even as lawyers’ body thanked all members for support to its boycott of courts in the Kashmir Valley.
“After questioning for about six hours on second consecutive day, the NIA gave clean chit to President (KHCBA) M A Qayoom,” a spokesman of the lawyers’ body said. He said Qayoom along with his team of seven Advocates is returning home tomorrow.
“Congratulations to all members. Word of thanks to all district and mufassil bar association who gave full hearted support and showed their solidarity,” the spokesman added.
