HC to introduce Video-Conferencing facility for litigants from far flung areas: Chief Justice

KARGIL:  Efforts are on to introduce video conferencing facility for the litigants from far flung areas of the state, Chief Justice of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Justice Badar Durrez Ahmed said on Friday.

Chief Justice is on a tour to Ladakh and was speaking during his visit to various courts in Kargil.

“In order to ensure speedy disposal of cases and to lessen the inconvenience to the litigants hailing from Kargil and Leh districts; the High Court will soon introduce a mechanism for hearing cases through video conferencing from Srinagar and Jammu. Video Conferencing will save precious time of the people living in far flung areas,” Badar said .
