BANDIPORA: The 21-day training camp at J&K Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) Bandipora under Seed Capital Fund Scheme (SCFS) and Youth Startup Loan Scheme (YSLS) concluded here today.
Around 68 candidates completed their training in manufacturing, services and agriculture allied skills. As many as 50 candidates including 5 female candidates qualified the programme and will be provided with financial assistance to establish their income generating units.
Nodal Officer JKEDI Bandipora said that an amount of Rs. 4.80 crore have been disbursed by JKEDI among 120 candidates during this financial year who were trained under HIMAYAT Scheme. He said that the 2nd batch of the training at the Institute shall start in September.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue, who was the chief guest, interacted with the candidates and urged them to take good advantage of the training programme by way of opening their ventures.
