DIG approves in-situ promotion of 63 police personnel of central range

Srinagar: The Deputy Inspector General of Police, G.H Bhat has approved In-Situ Grade promotion of 63 Police personnel of Central Kashmir Range.
The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) comprising of SSP, Srinagar, Imtiaz Ismail Parray, DDP RPHQ Srinagar, Bashir Ahmad, and SO Establishment Irshad Ahmad Jan, met under the Chairmanship of the Deputy Inspector General of Police, CKR, G.H Bhat and granted In-Situ grade promotion to 47 head constables and 16 selection grade constables.
Among these personnel, thirty four are posted in Srinagar, seven in Kargil, eleven in Budgam eight in Leh and three in Ganderbal.
The DIG Bhat in his message has felicitated these personnel and their families and expressed his hope that they will continue to work with the same zeal and dedication for public peace and welfare. (KNS)
