Div Com discusses various issues related to GB Pant Hospital

SRINAGAR: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan, today convened a meeting to discuss various issues related to the functioning of G.B. Pant Hospital.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Custodian General J&K, Chief Engineers of UEED & Mechanical Department, Medical Superintendent G.B. Pant Hospital, Joint Commissioner SMC, SP East, SP Traffic, Deputy Director Planning and other concerned officials were present in this meeting.
Medical Superintendent G.B. Pant Hospital apprised the Div Com about various issues pertaining to the hospital.
Divisional Commissioner directed police department to provide adequate number of SPOs to the hospital so that huge rush of attendants would be addressed.
Khan directed Custodian General J&K and concerned Tehsildhar to conduct a survey & find the status of the land which is adjacent to the hospital for temporary parking space.
He also asked Joint Commissioner SMC to curb dog menace in and around the hospital as per prescribed law.
Div com directed Chief Engineers of UEED & Mechanical Department to complete the construction work of Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP) of the hospital by the end of September 2017.
In order to conduct interviews of Nursing orderlies and Sweepers, Khan said that he would take the matter to the Commissioner Secretary Medical Education on priority basis.
