Chief Minister expresses grief over deaths in Thatri cloudburst

SRINAGAR: Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the tragic death of six persons in a cloudburst which hit the Thatri area of Doda district early this morning.
Mehbooba Mufti has directed the District administration to intensify rescue and rehabilitation operations, provide adequate hospital treatment to the injured and make arrangements of shelter, food and other facilities for the people affected by the cloudburst and consequent flashfloods.
The Chief Minister has asked the Minister for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control, Sham Lal Choudhary to rush to Doda and oversee the relief and rescue operations.
