Tourism Deptt grieved over death of Yatris in road accident

SRINAGAR: The Department of Tourism has expressed deep shock and grief over the road accident on Jammu-Srinagar highway near Ramsoo in which 16 Amarnath pilgrims lost their lives and many others were injured.
The Director Tourism Kashmir conveyed his heart-felt sympathies to the bereaved families.
“We are saddened at the news of this tragic incident in which yatris died. We equally share the pain of the bereaved families at this time of grief,” said Director Tourism Kashmir.
He also wished speedy recovery of the injured in the accident.
Director Tourism Kashmir said all possible efforts would be made to ensure proper medical help to the injured Yatris.
