Dy CM visits residence of slain SHO Feroz Dar at Sangam

SRINAGAR: Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh on Sunday visited the home of slain SHO Feroz Dar at Sangam, Anantnag and offered his personal condolences to the bereaved family.
Dr Nirmal Singh while expressing sympathies with the bereaved family assured Abdul Rasheed Dar father of martyred police officer that the Government will take care of the family and free education will be provided to the children.
The Dy CM directed the officials to dedicate a landmark public facility like PHC in the name of martyred SHO.
Dr Singh also met with the children of deceased SHO. Deputy Chief Minister also directed the State Director General of Police to expedite the case of job for the next of kin. Dr. Singh said that the nation will always remain indebted to Feroz Dar for the supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty. He also interacted with locals on the occasion.
DGP Dr. SP Vaid, IG Kashmir Munir Khan and other senior officials from police and administration also accompanied Deputy Chief Minister.
