Policeman shot dead in Kulgam

Srinagar: A policeman was Thursday shot dead in Bugund village in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, officials said.
According to KNS correspondent, Tassaduq Rashid, an officer said that a policeman identified as Shabir Ahmad Dar was injured after two or three militants opened fire at him near his home.
Dar who had sustained multiple bullet injuries was rushed to District Hospital Kulgam, where doctors declared him dead. (KNS)
