Srinagar: Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) on Saturday visited the residence of Gulzar Ahmad Wani at Tapper Pattan.
Gulzar Ahmad Wani, who was acquitted of all charges in a case involving a blast on a train in 2001 by a court in Uttar Pradesh on May 20, reached his home in Tappar Bala, Baramulla district, on Tuesday.
Malik according to the statement issued to KNS had visited the residence of Gulzar alongwith Zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal, zonal senior vice president Muhammad Yasin Butt, zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri and district president Baramullah Abdul Rashid Magloo.
JKLF chief facilitated him on his release from a long incarceration.
Paying homage to Gulzar Ahmad Wani on his dedication and resilience, Malik said that “the ordeal he has gone through at the hands of Indians is a testimony to the fact that for India every Kashmiri is an enemy who only deserves torture and jail.”
He said that “the ordeal he has gone through is part of our resistance history and as Muslims it is our belief that according to the law of retribution every tyrant and oppressor will have to pay for his crimes against humanity and the last victory belongs to those oppressed.”
Taking a dig on the Kashmiri rulers, JKLF chief said that “these shameless rulers have ruined the careers of our students and on daily basis various colleges, higher secondaries and schools are being shut down in the name of law and order.”
“We want to ask these rulers that where has their love for students and uplifting education that they were displaying while conducting forced examinations in November Last year and were blaming resistance camp for ruining education and careers of new generation,” Malik added.
He said that the fact of the matter is that India and the state government is the enemies of Kashmir and Kashmiris and whenever anyone tries to raise his or her voice against ‘illegal occupation’ these ‘tyrants waste no time to inflict collective a collective punishment to all.’ (KNS)
