Be aware of fake NGOs, Societies: DM Sgr

Srinagar: The District Magistrate Srinagar has cautioned people of fake societies and Non Government Organizations who float advertisements about jobs and thus dupe the gullible aspirants.
“It has come to the notice of the office of District Magistrate, Srinagar that certain fake societies / Non Government Organizations have from time to time floated employment notifications without any consequent recruitment thereby duping the aspirants,” the DM, Dr Farooq Ahmad Lone said.
“Before responding to such employment notifications floated by any NGO / Society, proper crosscheck / verification / registration / credentials etc becomes necessary. Now therefore, through the medium of this public notice it is enjoined upon general public that they must cross check / verify registration and credentials etc of such NGO / Society / Private bodies before responding to their offer,” he said.
“For the aforesaid verification / cross check the general public may approach office of District Magistrate, Srinagar and District Industries Centre, Srinagar,” he said. (KNS)
