Srinagar, May 09: Reacting over the statement of Mehbooba Mufti wherein she termed J&K as the “crown” of India, Hurriyat Conference (G) on Tuesday termed it unrealistic and ridiculous and said no doubt it is a crown & belongs to people of J&K, however It is not a personal property of any pro-Indian leader.
Hurriyat (G) while commenting over the statement, said that for political gains and to appease Delhi, all pro-Indian politicians are bound to play this tune.
In a statement issued to KNS, Hurriyat (G) spokesman, Ayaz Akbar ridiculing the statement of Mehbooba Mufti, said that at many times she speaks harsher than Rajnath Singh as she lacks political maturity. She never talks sense and her childish statement always add salt to the injuries.
Hurriyat (G) spokesman recalled her statement, quoting Mehbooba Mufti, saying that those kids killed were not out to buy milk or chocolates and thus justified forces action and instead of acting against killers, admonished slain youngsters.
It is one more gimmick and People of state in a unanimous voice reject her claim, said spokesperson.
Jammu & Kashmir remained an independent state till October 1947 and India without any moral or constitutional right forcibly occupied state.
Even students read these historical facts during their school days & most probably Mehbooba Mufti is expected to have learned about this while pursuing her education, said spokesman.
He said that we have presented immense sacrifices for the sacred cause and people in J&K will pursue their mission for freedom as they never accepted forced occupation and in future will never compromise.
Commenting over the Indra Abdullah accord, spokesman said that there are no takers for this as it proved irrelevant, outdated & buried since long.
She often recalls her father’s dreams, said spokesman, while referring to Mehbooba Mufti and said that it is not bad or forbidden to dream about, but each dream never proves true or is realized.
Better realize that that Kashmir is a disputed territory and its destination is yet to be decided, said spokesman.
Referring to military might and enforced occupation, spokesman said that despite all its coercive measures, India could not break our resolve or made people to surrender.
It is for their lust for power that these people ignore their national obligations, said spokesman and added that luxuries are main motive and goal for pro-Indian politicians. They are unprincipled & dishonest, said spokesman & are no more relevant and people do not have any regard just for their inappropriate stand and statements.
She can claim support of two to three percent electorate and even then, she has no mandate to say anything about Kashmir and its status. The handful of voters, she relies have just casted their votes for mere construction works and employment.
Hurriyat said that Kashmir was never a crown for India and it is beyond doubt that it will never be so in future too.
India with its military might, inducement, concessions and even through its stooges made its best to lure people, however failed to impress, said spokesman.
Kashmir is beyond any doubt a crown, however it belongs to people and won’t allow anyone to play with their honor and dignity, added spokesman.
