Slain Nasrullah being paraded through Hajin localities

Hajin:  Thousands of people are marching through localities of Hajin Bandipora while carrying body of the slain local militant, Nasrullah Mir who was killed by Government forces in an early morning operation in the area.

Local sources told INS that the procession carrying body of slain militant has been exhibited through five localities and almost ten thousands people are part of it.

“The procession has to move through 17 more localities and only after that the body will be taken for funeral prayers,” locals said wishing anonymity.

Nasrullah Mir, son of Nazir Ahmad Mir, a resident of Hajin was killed along with a non local militant in an early morning gunfight with government forces in which two Air force commandos too were killed.

Protests ensued in the area after news of Nasrullah’s killing spread.
