Forests on fire in Niaka, Panjgrain, Ghambir Mughlan areas in Rajouri

Rajouri: Fire tenders and forest officials are battling hard to douse and control the ravaging fire that has engulfed forest areas since late last night.

Officials said that the fire is ‘massive’.

“It has engulfed Niaka, Panjgrain and Ghambir Mughlan forest area,” he said.

Fire tenders and forest officials rushed to the spot.

“Fire fighting operation underway,” said and official at Fire & Emergency Services, Rajouri.
