 NIA raids 11 more locations in Kashmir

Srinagar: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) sleuths Wednesday raided multiple locations in Kashmir Valley in connection with case FIR no- RC-29/2021/NIA/DLI “hatching of conspiracy for undertaking violent terrorist acts in J&K and other major cities, by cadres of proscribed terrorist organisations Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM), Al Badr and their affiliates”.

Reliable sources told that searches are being carried out in the residential house of Fahad Ali Wani son of Ali Mohammad Wani, a resident of Hamdaniya colony Chanapora and house of Furkaan Imran Khan Son of Mohammad Imran Khan, resident of Govt Housing colony Bagh-e-Mehtab was also being searched by the sleuths of NIA.

They said that the residential house of Rashid Ahmad Bhat son of Bashir Ahmad Bhat resident of Tibtain colony Eidgah was also searched by the NIA team.

Sources further said that currently raids are underway at eleven locations in Kashmir four in Srinagar, two reach in Baramulla and Awantipora, one each in Pulwama, Sopore and Kulgam.

A spokesperson of NIA according to news said NIA had arrested 4 accused persons in this case on 13th of this month and identified the four allegedly accused as Waseem Ahmed Sofi r/o Chattabal Srinagar, Tariq Ahmed Dar r/o Shergarhi Srinagar, Bilal Ahmed Mir @ Bilal Fufu r/o Parimpora Srinagar and Tariq Ahmed Bafanda r/o Rajauri Kadal Srinagar.
