Bandipora: Father, son were detained by Government forces during Cordon And Search Operation in Vijpara village fo Hajin Hajin in Bandipora district.
Residents of bonpora, Vijpara, they have been identified as Muhammad Ayoub Lone and his son Yawar Lone, sources said.
Sources said, Army’s 13 RR unit, SOG of Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF were part of the CASO launched after inputs about presence of militants in the area last night.
The night long CASO was called off in the wee hours of Tuesday.
Eye witnesses said that the CASO was launched in the area at around 8:30 pm and clashes erupted in the area after some time.
“Till 1 am there were protests and clashes between police and youth,” eye witness told INS.
unconfirmed reports say that three persons received pellet injuries during the protests.
