J&K Premier League: Nunnu Stars, SSCC Bemina Emerge Winners

Srinagar, July 12: In the ongoing Jammu and Kashmir Premier League being played at sports ground of Green Valley Educational Institute Ellahi Bagh two matches were played on Monday.

The first match was played between Nunnu Stars and Kashmir Harvard Zoonimar CC. After winning the toss, Nunnu Stars chose to bat first and posted a total of 135 runs in 16 overs. Bhat Arsh scored 36 of 22 balls. For Kashmir Harvard Zoonimar CC Shabbir Molvi took 4 wickets. Chasing the target, Kashmir Harvard Zoonimar CC fell short of 15 runs and lost the match. Mumin Wani (38), Sabit Khan (28) were among top run scores. For Nunnu Stars Rouf Mir claimed 4 wickets and conceded just 12 runs. Rouf Mir for his outstanding performance was declared as Man of the Match. Game Changer of the Match sponsored by Appearance by Hooked was claimed by Rouf Mir. Super Sixes award sponsored by RUNIXX was claimed by Sabit Khan. Best Catch of the Match was claimed by Bhat Arsh.

The second match was played between SSCC Bemina and Team Hooked. SSCC Bemina won the toss and elected to bat. SSCC Bemina posted a target of 197 runs. Imtiaz Dar (44) and Umer Nissar (43) were among the leading run scorers. For Team Hooked Waseem Raza took 3 wickets. Batting second Team Hooked scored 190 for the loss of 8 wickets and fell short by narrow margin. Waseem Raza(60) and Zahid Dar (41) were top scorers for Team Hooked. Faisal Mir took 3 wickets for SSCC Bemina. Waseem Raza for his outstanding allround performance was adjudged as man of the match. Game Changer of the Match sponsored by Appearance by Hooked was claimed by Junaid Bashir. Super Sixes award sponsored by RUNIXX was claimed by Waseem Raza. Best Catch of the Match was claimed by Fazil Rashid.
