DGP inaugurates water treatment plant at DPL, Baramulla

Srinagar: Director General of Police (DGP), Dr. S.P Vaid during his visit to Baramulla, inaugurated water treatment plant at District Police Lines and inspected Police Public School Baramulla.
The plant has been installed to provide safe drinking water, as a part of efforts to provide better living facilities for the Police personnel. The filtration plant will provide twelve thousand litres filtered drinking water per day and meet the requirements of DPL.
DGP, during his visit to Police Public School interacted with the students and the staff. Accompanied by IGP Kashmir, IGP North Kashmir Range, SSP Baramulla and other senior police officers, he inspected different section and enquired about school working.
The DGP during his interaction with the staff and students assured that better infrastructure and facilities will be provided to school for providing quality education in the near future. He gave on spot instructions to the officers for enhancing the infrastructure of the school. Students of the school demonstrated some judo acts on the occasion.
DGP also inspected the newly renovated Dinning cum Recreation hall, which has a capacity of one hundred persons at a time. The district officers briefed the DGP regarding the facilities and also put forth certain requirements.
DGP assured that the demands will be looked into sympathetically. (KNS)
