PRB issues schedule of physical tests for SIs of Jammu Province

Srinagar: Police Recruitment Board (PRB) for SIs in J&K Police has formulated schedule for conduct of Physical Endurance Test and Physical Standard Test in respect of candidates belonging to Jammu Province. The schedule will start on September 22, 2017 at Sports Stadium Doda and culminate at Gulshan Ground Jammu on September 20, 2017.
As per the schedule issued by the Board the tests of the candidates of Range DKR (Executive & Armed) will be conducted at Sports Stadium Doda. The candidates from district Kishtwar will be put to tests on August 22. Two thousand applicants out of 2867 of district Doda will have to present themselves for tests on August 23. The remaining 867 applicants of the district will be put to tests along with the applicants of district Ramban on August 24. Further the candidates of the Range for the post in telecom will attend the process on August 25, 2017 at the same venue.
Similarly, the applicants of district Udhampur and Reasi will be put to tests at District Police Lines Udhampur on August 28&29 respectively. Candidates who have applied for SI (Telecom) of the two districts will attend the process on August 30 at the venue. Candidates belonging to district Rajouri and Poonch will undergo the tests on September 7th, 8th & 9th at DPL Rajouri and the candidates for telecom of these twin districts will be put to tests on August 10, 2017.
Test for the candidates of district Jammu will begin on September 13 and conclude onSeptember16, 2017 at Gulshan Ground. Schedule for Kathua district has been fixed for September 17&18 at the same venue. Candidates of district Samba and telecom applicants of the range will attend the process on September 19&20 respectively.
Applicants conforming to the prescribed educational, Physical and other required standards as per the advertisement, have been informed to strictly follow the scheduled date/time and also ensure compliance of the instructions given in the admit cards. The candidates shall bring along the admit cards downloaded by them and also produce the original testimonials in support of their qualification/age/permanent residence/ reserved category etc on the given date/time. Candidates have been asked to reaffirm that they meet the required physical and other standards before participating in the physical endurance and other tests.
Any candidate, who participates in these events knowing that he/she is short of the eligibility criteria or on account of some inadvertent man/machine error but is found ineligible at the time of Physical Measurement Test/age bar, at the time of checking of original certificates, he/she shall do so solely at his /her own peril and the PRB shall have no responsibility for any such eventuality. The candidates are advised to stick to the schedule for each Range and the candidates should report at the particular venue earmarked for each Range.
