Traffic police issues route plan for Srinagar ahead of Indian PM’s visit to SKICC

Srinagar: Traffic police on Friday issued a traffic advisory for February 3 ahead of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to SKICC Srinagar.

The route plan, according to police, will remain in effect from February 2 afternoon.

 “No traffic shall be allowed to ply from Badyari Chowk to Nishat via Boulevard and similarly no traffic shall be allowed from Ram Munshi Bagh towards Grand Palace and Nishat via Gupkar,” he said.

 The advisory said that the commuters travelling from Harwan, Shalimar, Nishat and adjacent areas towards Lal Chowk are requested to travel via Foreshore Road & Hazratbal.

“Commuters travelling from Dalgate, Lal Chowk and adjacent areas towards Harwan, Shalimar, Nishat shall adopt Nowpora-Khayam-Rainawari to reach their respective destinations,” advisory reads.
