 Green Valley Students Participate In ‘An Effort To Save Dal Lake’

Srinagar: ELFA International and Global Citizen Journey (GCJ) in collaboration with Green Valley Educational Institute organized a Town Hall event “An Effort To Save Dal Lake”, on Saturday.
The session was facilitated by Ms. Susan Partnow, founder GCJ. The event was attended by various stakeholders including foreign delegation from U.S.A. and renowned experts / activists. The participants of the school took active part in the event. The program included: World Café, Open Space
The participants actively participated in group discussion and proposed many suggestions to save Dal Lake.
In open space session participants came out with “wonderful and innovative” options to tackle the problems faced by Dal Lake and its dwellers, according to a statement issued here by the organizers.
The program was aimed to bring the students in one to one debate with the dignitaries and the foreign delegates. The lively participation of the participants was praised and highlighted by Ms. Susan Partnow.
Mehran Khan, C.E.O ELFA International presented vote of thanks. In his speech he highlighted the role of school management in making this program a success.
