Teacher, 2 students among dead in Ramban mishap; Secy education, DSEK, DSEJ grieved

Srinagar: Secretary School Education, Directors school education, Kashmir and Jammu expressed shock over the death of 20 persons including one Teacher Mudassir Ahmad Mir of high school at Chanjaloo Banihal and two students of higher secondary Seconadry School Ramban in a tragic accident at Ramban.
In a statement issued here, Secretary School Education Ajeet Kumar Sahu ,Director School Education Kashmir, Dr. G.N. Itoo and Director School Education Jammu Rakesh Kumar Srangal expressed shock over the death of a Teacher Mudassir Ahmad Mir S/o Ab. Jabbar Mir R/O Bankoot who was posted at High School Chanjaloo Zone Banihal and two students of Higher Secondary School Ramban namely Sunil Singh S/O Ratan Singh R/O Digogh Ramban and Irfan Suleman S/O Muhammad Suleman R/O Panthayal Ramban of C lass 11th in the tragic road accident at Ramban when the vehicle in which they were travelling skidded off the road and fell in a gorge, resulting into killing of 20 persons.
DSEK and DSEJ have said that the Department stands with the family members of the deceased at this hour of grief.
Chief Education Officer Ramban Abdul Hameed Faani has assured all possible help to the deceased teachers family and moral support to the parents of deceased students. Other officers of the Department, teaching fraternity and others also expressed shock over this loss and prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased souls.
