Police traces SKUAST missing students in Gangbal, hands over to university

Ganderbal : Six boys missing from Sher Kashmir University of Agriculture and Technology  hostel have been traced by police. They were on  a trekking trip to Gangbal.
University officials said that the boys had left the hostel on  August 14 without prior permission from university authorities.
After questioning the class mates of the missing students they confessed that they have gone for “secret” trip for trekking to Gangbal area of Ganderbal.

SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal constituted a team under the supervision of SHO Ganderbal Nisar Ahmad Hurra and with the help of guide (pony walas) all students were traced out in shortest possible time and safely handed over to the SKAUST authorities, officials said.

VC SKAUST Nazir Ahmad appreciated the team effort of Ganderbal Police for all the help in locating and safely handing over lost students of SKAUST.
