Protesting clerk ask govt to accept their demands in earnest, strike continues

Baramulla : All District clerical Association of  Bandipora,  Baramulla,  Kupwara members on Wednesday held a protest demonstration in PDD office Baramulla.

“If Government fails to full fill our demands of removing pay anomalies, all clerks of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh will go for an indefinite strike,” Ali Mohammad Mir State President said.

They accused government of not listening to the demands of the Clerks.

Threatening government of state wide protest, State General Secretary Jeelani Naik said that large scale protests will be launched if our demands are not accepted in earliest.

Sharawaaz Ahmed Chief organiser Sectary,  Muzaffar Ahmed Vice President of State,  Riyaz Ahmed District President Baramulla,  Mohammad Shafi District President Kupwara,  Basharat Ahmed District President Pulwama, led protest demonstration at PDD department Baramulla.

Clerk strike today entered seventeenth day, the stalemate continues with no possible signs from either side of softening stand. The strike has paralyzed the functioning in the government offices leaving thousands of people in distress.
