Srinagar: ‘Harkat-ul-Mujhadeen’ and another lesser known militant outfit ‘Kashmiri Taliban’ Saturday came in support of ‘disgruntled’ militant commander Zakir Musa stating that he (Zakir Musa) has spoken truth and they all back him.
Spokesperson Harkat-ul-Mujhadeen, Hasan Askari told news agency CNS over phone that whosoever will aid and assist India will face the music. “Even Hurriyat leader will not be spared if they support India,” he said.
“Zakir Musa Bhai has spoken truth. We stand by him. He has talked about Islam. He has talked against those who work in connivance with India. Our support is always with him,” he said.
Another caller, who identified himself as Saifullah Saif, the spokesperson of lesser known militant organization ‘Kashmiri Taliban’ told CNS that Zakir Musa is on right track and their Chief Commander Muhammad Bin Qasim Kashmiri supports him. “Our organization is a constituent of United Jehad Council and we want to make it clear that people working for India will not be spared, even if they will be part of Hurriyat Conference,” he said and added that the outfit has decided to target anti-freedom struggle forces without any delay.
“Kashmir is in our grip and we will exterminate informers and pro-India elements,” he said.
Pertinently, hours after Hizb-ul-Mujahideen statement calling his threat to Hurriyat leaders as “unacceptable”, Zakir Musa dissociated himself from the outfit, saying that he can’t “sacrifice his life for the establishment of a secular state”.
Musa released an audio clip in which he said that he stands by his earlier message. CNS
