Bandipora: Even days after students, along with parents, of Government Middle School Pethkoot area Bandipora district came on roads to demanding teachers for their school, Education department seems unmoved.

The school, according to protesters, lacks teachers especially in Social Science, Science, and Mathematics. They had protested inside remises of Mini Secretrait Bandipora.

“The Government claim of better education for all is a hoax, at least for us,” locals of Pethkoot who were part of the protest said.

Students have appealed Education Department to provide required staff in the school so that studies are not affected.

DC Bandipora Khursheed Ahmad Sania told INS that within a week the school will get teachers. “I have held meeting with CEO and concerned ZEO. They have to Rationalise teachers and within one week, they will get adequate teaching staff,” Sania said.
