Shopian: Two days after an army Cassper vehicle was hit with an IED near the Sugan village here injuring three soldiers Government forces arrested three persons including father of four children in nocturnal raids at the said village.

Locals identified the detained persons as Altaf Ahmad Seh son of Ghulam Muhammad Seh, Gazi Muhammad Bhat son of Gulzar Ahmad Bhat and Farooq Ahmad Najar son of Noor Muhammad Najar. They said that Farooq has four children.

After Forces we’re attacked by militants by Ann improvised IED government forces allegedly vandalised at least 60 houses including the house of Hizb commander Zeenat-ul-Islam and damaged many Apple orchards.
