Police recover hijacked vehicle

Pulwama, May 10: Police on Tuesday late evening recovered the car which was allegedly hijacked by suspected militants in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Police said one Muhammad Rafiq Dar of Samboora Pampore approached Pulwama Police station and informed cops about hijacking of his Alto vehicle by five gunmen at Gudoora Pulwama.
Subsequently, Police registered a case and sounded an alert. Massive searches were launched by security agencies to recover the car amidst high alert in southern parts of Kashmir.
Police officials said that they recovered the car from Naman village of Kakapora late Tuesday evening.
“Investigation has been taken up to ascertain the facts.” (CNS)
