Srinagar, May 08: Strongly condemning the ban on electronic media, Hurriyat Conference (G) while lashing out at state administration, said that it is highly deplorable and tantamount to strangulate freedom of expression. It is step forward for creation of ‘’Hindu Rashtra’’ and authorities have opted to begin with their plans from Jammu & Kashmir. It is very unfortunate, that Mehbooba Mufti with folded eyes is obeying her masters and carrying their agenda, said spokesman Ayaz Akbar.
He said that it is quite strange to ban those Islamic channels, specific for Quran and other religious related programs. It tantamount to direct interference in religious matters, said Ayaz Akbar in a statement to KNS.
It is extremely deplorable that Mehbooba Mufti, though Muslim for name sake laid curbs on broadcast of these Islamic channels.
It is unbearable, said spokesman and added that these steps illustrate their future course of targeting the Muslim community and Islam.
Hurriyat (G) spokesman said, its repercussions may perhaps be sever, if the decision is not revoked by authorities.
