8000 posts created to consolidate human resource in Schools: Altaf Bukhari

Jammu: Minister for Education Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Thursday informed the House that 8000 posts are being created at different levels in the State to augment human resource for the newly up-graded 200 Middle Schools to High Schools and 200 High Schools to Higher Secondary Schools.
The Minister said while replying to a Calling Attention Notice moved by MLA Pawan Gupta regarding shortage of permanent staff at Barta Higher Secondary School, “The Department on completion of this ongoing recruitment process shall initiate process for creation of posts at 10+2 level in already upgraded schools, including Higher Secondary School, Barta.”
With regards to the present staff position at Barta Higher Secondary School, he said that department has made the Higher Secondary School fully functional by way of internal arrangement to ensure that the education doesn’t suffer.
