The supporters chanted slogans ‘Kupwara (massacre) Ke Qatiloon Ko Phaansi Do, Phaansi Do (Hang the murderers of Kupwara massacre), Nehru Ne Bola Raai-Shumari Tum Bhi Bolo Raai Shumari Rai Shumari (Nehru promised of plebiscite, we also seek plebiscite’.

Rasheed on the occasaison said authorities have failed to deliver justice to the massacre victims and their families. “Even Mehbooba-led government has completely failed to restore peace in Kashmir and provide justice to the victims,” he said.

Meanwhile, police had laid barricades at several parts of the area leading to massacre place.
